Kesteren: man overleden bij beknelling

Bij een bedrijfsongeval aan de Batterijenweg in Kesteren is woensdagavond een 42-jarige werknemer van een diervoederverwerkingsbedrijf om het leven gekomen. De man uit Opheusden werd in een vijzelmachine aangetroffen door een collega.
Het slachtoffer is door nog onbekende oorzaak in die machine terechtgekomen en omgekomen. De Opheusdenaar was op het moment dat het ongeluk gebeurde alleen in diervoederfabriek.

Veghel: bekneld in machine

Bij een logistiek bedrijf aan de Marshallweg in Veghel is in de nacht van donderdag op vrijdag een medewerker bekneld geraakt in een machine.
De medewerker is door de hulpdiensten uit de machine bevrijd en met de ambulance naar een ziekenhuis gebracht.
De ernst van de verwondingen en de oorzaak van het ongeval zijn nog onbekend. Het ongeval wordt door de Inspectie SZW onderzocht.

Vlaardingen: man verliest vingers bij beknelling

Een man is dinsdag aan het begin van de avond door een bedrijfsongeval zwaargewond geraakt aan zijn hand. De man kwam bij een bedrijf aan de Deltaweg in Vlaardingen met zijn hand bekneld te zitten in een pers. Hij raakte door de beknelling al zijn vingers kwijt en is met een spoedtransport overgebracht naar het Erasmus MC.

Druten: man komt met been in draaiende machine

Een 38-jarige medewerker van sierbestratingsbedrijf Excluton in Druten is dinsdagmorgen vroeg met zijn been tussen een draaiende machine gekomen. Het ongeluk gebeurde tegen 5.30 uur, meldt de politie. Daarbij raakte de 38-jarige gewond aan zijn bovenbeen.”Normaal kan zoiets niet gebeuren. De medewerker heeft willens en wetens de beveiliging van de machine omzeild om iets in het proces te willen herstellen of repareren”, zegt Frans van Haren, de directeur van het bedrijf.

De medewerker is naar het ziekenhuis gebracht. De directeur en de politie kon dinsdagmorgen nog niet zeggen wat de aard is van zijn verwondingen. De Inspectie SZW is ingeschakeld voor onderzoek van het ongeval.

Oss: gewonde door beknelling bij afvalverwerker

Voor een bedrijfsongeval bij een afvalverwerker  in Oss zijn dinsdagochtend enkele ambulances en een traumahelikopter uitgerukt. Wat de woordvoerder van het bedrijf heeft kunnen achterhalen is dat er een medewerker bekneld is geraakt.

De hulpdiensten kregen rond kwart over negen de melding van een ongeval bij het bedrijf aan de Maaskade/Dommelstraat. “Er loopt onderzoek wat de oorzaak is geweest van de beknelling”, aldus de woordvoeder. Ter plekke is volgens de woordvoeder medisch onderzoek gedaan naar longen en ribben van de beknelde man. “Er leek niets mee aan de hand te zijn, maar hij is voor controle toch naar het ziekenhuis overgebracht.”

Breda: steiger valt om, man gewond

Een 39-jarige inwoner uit Veldhoven is zaterdagochtend gewond geraakt bij een ongeval in een bedrijfspand aan de Zoete Inval in Breda. De Veldhovenaar stond op een steiger en raakte gewond toen de steiger om nog onbekende reden omviel.De man is per ambulance overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis. Het slachtoffer had last van zijn onderrug, hoofd en arm, maar was gewoon aanspreekbaar. De inspectie SZW voert een onderzoek uit.

Horst (L): Fatal accident with soil auger

An employee of a company in Horst (Limburg) was killed when he was accidentally crushed under a large soil auger. Ankeveen: Trapped in machine

On Wednesday afternoon, 1 April, an employee in Ankeveen became trapped in a machine. The accident occurred at a data destruction company located on the Canneburgerweg. Nijkerk: Man crushed under industrial scale

On Saturday at a animal feed company on the Nijverheidsstraat in Nijkerk a man was injured while working. He was crushed under an industrial scale in the factory. Hoofddorp: Butcher in supermarket loses hand in grinder

Last Friday morning, 5 December, a butcher lost his hand in an accident involving a meat grinder.
The accident took place in the butcher’s shop of the supermarket on the Concourslaan in Hoofddorp.

Haelen: Man (18) fatally wounded in press

Helmond: Industrial accident takes second life (new update)

Moerdijk: wounded by hot ash (update)

Polsbroek: Trapped in mixing machine

Den Haag: Lift mechanic trapped by lift cable

On 12 February, a lift mechanic was injured in an office building in the Waldorpstraat in The Hague.
