Work Equipment Directive

The Work Equipment Directive has been in effect for all existing machines since 1 January 1997.
Within the framework of this directive, the risks associated with these machines must be inventoried.
The Work Equipment Directive is closely related to the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.

This legislation requires the employer to provide safe and adequate work equipment in the workplace.
The employer has the duty to care for “persons, honour and property”.
In other words, employers must do everything that can be reasonably expected of them in order to provide safe equipment for their employees.

ESV can check your machinery or production facility for conformity with the Work Equipment Directive.
In doing so, the machines without a CE marking are inspected to ensure they comply with the regulations in the Work Equipment Directive. Compliance with the Work Equipment Directive can be combined with an RI&E. This way you can have every machine in your facility checked for safety.
